...pleased to meet you.

The Good Fight is the result of a variety of worn out school bands meeting university and merging under the one name with one direction. Having already made some simple recordings under the title ‘I wish I lived in Oldham’, the band, with a slight adjustment in the line-up, embarked on a double-headed mission to create a set full of variety and genuinely decent tunes whilst making a breakthrough on the local music scene by getting bigger and better gigs.

They began working there way into the scene and with songs such as ‘Presumptions on a lifestyle’ and ‘People Let You Down’ they beefed up their set. The band decided to enter BBC’s ATL Rockschool in late 2007 where ‘Presumptions on a lifestyle’ earned them the crown. The victory produced a professional video for the song ‘Landslide’, recording time at the renowned Amberville studio and a support slot at a major gig courtesy of Wonderland Promotions.

This slot should be announced shortly and will be added to a CV that includes supporting The Rascals, airplay on Huw Stevens Radio 1 Introducing Programme as well as a live session aired on Rory McConnell’s Radio 1 show.
